We are thrilled to invite you to the 4th Annual Day of Service hosted by the Indiana Women’s Affordable Housing Network at the Indiana Housing Conference! This year, we’re stepping up our efforts to make a difference in our community, and we need YOU to make it a success!
Onsite Project: Dress for Success
Let’s roll up our sleeves and get hands-on with an incredible onsite project supporting Dress for Success. Together, we’ll be sorting, quality checking, and repairing clothing, accessories, and personal hygiene items. Your efforts will help empower women in our community to look and feel their best as they step into new opportunities. Whether you’re a fashion guru or just love to help, there’s a spot for you!

Offsite Event: Flanner Farms
Location: 2424 Dr. MLK Jr. St., Indianapolis, IN 46208
For those who enjoy the great outdoors, we have an offsite volunteer event at the beautiful Flanner House Campus located at 2424 Dr, MLK Jr. Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46208, celebrating their 125th anniversary. Join us in harvesting fresh, nutritious foods that will be shared with those in need, clean up at their Morning Star Mental Health Center, their food justice offices on Edgemont, mulch resurfacing in the kids play area and ground upkeep and clean up. It’s a fantastic way to give back, get some fresh air, and enjoy the bounty of our local farms. Plus, you’ll leave with a sense of accomplishment and maybe even some new gardening skills!

This event will reach capacity quickly! Please only register for one event.
Schedule:
12pm: Both groups will meet in the TBD room at the Marriott after the conclusion of the IHC.
- We will hear from both Dress for Success and Flanner Farms about their missions and good work they are doing.
- We will be providing box lunches for all volunteers.
- Once concluded the off-site event volunteers will caravan over to the Farm together.
